Welcome To My Virtual Office

I love working for the Lake City School system and have been doing so for a number of years now.  I work as a school counselor and work primarily with 7th - 8th grade.  Part of my duties involve coodinating the 9th Grade Leadership Retreat.  A relatively new venture is helping empower youth to help each other.  Our group goes by the name WE ACT.  We are inspired by Free The Children (see below).  We Act has committed to do at least a school project, a community project and an international project.
Free the Children is an international charity and youth movement founded in 1995 by human rights advocate Craig Kielburger. Funded to large extent by youth, the organization originally used the motto, "children helping children".
