Reminder to All Parents
A reminder to all parents: if you want to change your contact information for the school district, you can do so by logging in to your JMC account (the same account to access grades and attendance). Once you are logged in you can edit your contact information. Lake City Schools uses updated JMC contact information for our "School Reach" communication services.

Lake City Music Students attend Honors Band
Saturday, January 21st, was a day of musical excellence and performance for 6 members of the Lake City Music Program. The students attended a day of rehearsals and performed a public concert at Rochester Century High School as a part of the Minnesota Band Directors Association Honors Band Festival.
The students prepared music in advance, and were directed by two outstanding Minnesota Band Directors; Mr. Steven Olson from Rosemount H.S., and Ms. Joni Sutton (retired) from Maple Grove Schools.
The event was sponsored by the Minnesota Band Directors Association Southeast Region, and the Lake City Music Boosters.
Students in attendance included; left to right, Marie Mangold, Rebecca Goertzen, Emily Albright, Tanner Tufto, Olivia Walker, Rachel Bany, also pictured is Band Director Paul Holland.

ISD #813 School Board Appointment Application
Independent School District #813/Lake City Public School Board is seeking to appoint an eligible community member to fill an open position on the School Board. This appointment will serve until November 2012. Candidates must be at least 21 years old, an eligible voter, a resident of ISD #813, and free of felony convictions. Applications may be picked up in the District Office (300 South Garden Street, Lake City, Minnesota 55041) or by calling Superintendent Junker: 651-345-2198. The Board will be accepting applications until 12:00 PM (noon) on Friday, January 27.
