SACC will follow the safety guidelines recommended by the CDC and Minnesota Department of Health(MDH) in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. If there are changes to these guidelines for summer care, we will reflect those changes in our program. The current guidelines are as follows:
1. Limit group sizes of ten or fewer participants, with consistent staff members where possible.
Students will be in the same classroom with the same group of kids for the duration of summer. Siblings will be grouped together and a ratio of 1 staff to 9 kids will be maintained. Students will eat in those classrooms, use the gym and playground together and limit mixing with other groups.
2. Temperature and screening checks for all participants as they enter into the building
3. Handwashing before and after each activity rotation
4. Sanitizing our equipment before and after daily use
5. Any staff or participant will be sent home if they exhibit vomiting, a fever of 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit or more, or other symptoms of infection
6. Per CDC guidance, any staff or participant will be sent home if they exhibit symptoms of coronavirus, including cough or shortness of breath or at least two of these symptoms: fever, chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, or new loss of taste or smell.
Per Minnesota Department of Education, if Tiger Time or Cub Care would end up having a participant or staff who is diagnosed with COVID-19, we would reach out to MDH and our local public health agency for further direction and guidance. At this time, per their recommendation, this may mean closing one or multiple classrooms.
One final request, we are asking that you provide 1 sunscreen at the beginning of summer for all to use- we will assist those who need help. We are asking that you provide colored pencils, markers, or crayons, glue, and scissors to avoid students using materials used by others.
Please send all of your completed paperwork to email@example.com or drop it off at the Bluff View office.
We must have the following in order to accept your registration
1. Registration form
2. Registration fee ($20 per child, $50 cap per family)
