Data Driven Decision Making

In Lake City, we have a strong belief of using data to drive our decision making. We have used NWEA data and assessments since 2004. The MAP tests offered by NWEA in Mathematics and Reading for grades 1-10 allows us to truly track individual student growth over time and gives us focus for instructional focus and Student Interventions. In addition to NWEA data, Lincoln High School uses the High School Survey of Student Engagement (HSSSE), MCA State Assessments, Aims Reading Fluency, ACT, PLAN and EXPLORE tests, Advanced Placement scores, CLEP scores, and many other data to help make school and classroom decisions.
