Rigor, Relevance, and Relationships!

Lincoln High School
Lincoln High School is pleased to offer a diverse, well-balanced curriculum that is devoted to ensure that all students are successful and best prepared for post-secondary success.

We have focused our efforts on providing rigorous courses that are relevant and meaningful to today's students. We also feel it is extremely important to develop a personalized approach to student learning. Our efforts in differentiated instruction and our Tiger PRIDE Advisory program have helped us work towards meeting this goal at Lincoln High School.

We feel very strong about the importance of technology to better engage students and best prepare them for the 21st century. ALL general education classrooms at Bluff View Elementary and Lincoln High School have SMART Board Interactive Boards. All classrooms also have projectors and high end audio systems. Our Technology Education department has developed a full pre-engineering program with state of the art CAD software and equipment as well as a robotics curriculum and 3-D Printers. All teachers utilize Schoology as our Learning Management System and we are also a Google Apps for Education School.  We are extremely excited about our Education 21 iPad Initiative!  We have had our E21 iPad Initiative since the 2012-13 school year and beginning in 2015, all students in grade 7-12 will receive an iPad as an educational tool to be used in the classroom!

We have excellent programs to ensure our students who may struggle some academically can have success. These programs include our heavy use of adult volunteers, team taught classes, structured study hall options, and an after school program. Lincoln also has a strong reading focus in our school and teachers frequently embed content area reading strategies into their courses.
