Erick Enger Superintendent

I am Erick Enger, Superintendent of Lake City Public Schools. LCPS is committed to the process of lifelong learning. From preschoolers to adult learners and everyone in between, we strive to have quality learning programs available to meet your needs.

LCPS is dedicated to education as a lifelong process to develop the full potential of every student. This ambitious mission is what we strive to achieve in all our educational endeavors. We're very proud of the work we do and the partnerships we have with our patrons and communities.

Lake City Public Schools has focused its energy on five key goals:

Goal 1 > All students ready for kindergarten

Goal 2 > All students in third grade reading at grade level

Goal 3 > All racial and economic achievement gaps between students are closed

Goal 4 > All students attain college and career readiness

Goal 5 > All students graduating from high school

Besides these goals, LCPS is committed to enhancing our students’ educational experience through the use of technology. Currently, we have a 1-to-1 iPad program for students in grades 5-12. Students in grades 3 and 4 also have access to a personal iPad for use on a daily basis. Students in grades K - 2 have access to an iPad. We're extremely proud of our district's commitment to integrating technology into our classrooms.

We look forward to serving you and our students this school year and hope you share in our pride –

TIGER PRIDE!
